Research on Backup Protection Action in Typical 220 kV Main Transformer
With the increasing power load and the number of substations, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the power system has become an important task, and at the same time, higher requirements have been put forward for the ability of substation operation and maintenance personnel to handle abnormal accidents. This paper takes transformer operation and maintenance personnel as the starting point, combined with a typical dead zone fault case of 220 kV substation equipped with gap protection on the medium voltage side, and makes an in-depth analysis of the relay protection actions and accident handling such as dead zone protection, main transformer protection and mother-difference protection. In this paper, the protection cooperation relationship and the particularity of protection action in the case of single-phase grounding fault are analyzed in detail, the fault point is correctly judged, and the correctness of the analysis results is verified by the simulation software of substation operation and maintenance accident processing, which provides a certain reference for the analysis of similar protection trip events in the power system accident processing of substation operation and maintenance personnel.
