Reversible Information Hiding Method of JPEG Grayscale Image Based on LSB
It is difficult to resist the loss of secret information caused by format conversion by using conventional JPEG reversible information hiding methods such as modified quantization table. For example, when JPEG is converted to PNG format and then converted back to JPEG format, many conventional JPEG reversible information hiding methods will fail. Therefore,a rewriting mode for pixels before DCT quantization is explored, and secret information is embedded into JPEG gray image by using LSB idea.In order to ensure that the increase in the size of the image after steganography is within a controllable range,a method of compressing and controlling image size before embedding secret information is adopted, ultimately ensuring that the secret information can be extracted completely. The results show that:When embedded in an 8×8 block near the low frequency region, rewriting a single position for[0,0]or[1,1]or[2,2]is performed, and rewriting two positions for([0,0],[1,1])or([0,0],[2,2])is performed.Compared with the initial original image, the PSNR value of the final steganographic image is above 50,and the SSIM value is above 0.99,indicating that the embedded steganographic image is very similar to the original image, and it is difficult for the naked eye to distinguish.
