Automatic Protection Method for Overvoltage in Substation Based on Distributed Generation
Aiming at the problem of large voltage fluctuations and poor protection effect caused by traditional overvoltage protection methods in substation protection,a distributed generation based substation overvoltage automation protection method is proposed.Firstly,determine the path of overvoltage intrusion into the substation,and set up the cable connection method of the substation in detail to ensure that overvoltage will not be transmitted to the substation through cables.Secondly,obtain the minimum cross-sectional area of the connecting wire of the protector to ensure its effectiveness.Finally,install interface voltage protectors to prevent damage to substation equipment from overvoltage.The results show that the protection method has basically no voltage fluctuations during protection,and the protection effect is good,which can significantly improve the operational stability of the substation.
