Analysis and Improvement of the Influence of Shearer Screw Drum Structure Parameters on Coal Loading Efficiency
Taking the spiral drum of MG400/950 shearer as the research object,the simulation model of coal wall was established by using EDEM simulation analysis software,and the influence of spiral lift angle,cylinder diameter and cylinder hub diameter on the coal loading efficiency of spiral drum was studied.The results show that the larger the spiral lift angle,the higher the coal loading efficiency,but as the spiral lift angle continues to increase,the trend of improving coal loading efficiency in the later stage slows down.The larger the drum diameter,the higher the loading efficiency.The larger the hub diameter,the lower the coal loading efficiency.Based on the results of the influence of spiral drum structural parameters on the coal loading efficiency,the spiral drum structural parameters were improved,the spiral lift angle was increased to 15°,the drum diameter was increased to 1 200 mm,and the cylinder hub diameter was reduced to 475 mm.The coal loading efficiency of the screw drum is increased by nearly 3.5%after the improved structure parameters.
