Research on New Power System Short-Circuit Fault Automatic Localization Based on Multi-Source Information Fusion
Traditional methods for locating short-circuit faults often have limited processing of the obtained short-circuit fault characteristics, resulting in low accuracy in automatic short-circuit fault localization. Therefore,a new type of automatic short-circuit fault localization in power systems based on multi-source information fusion is studied.Firstly, utilizing multi-source information fusion to obtain short-circuit fault characteristics and obtain more detailed short-circuit fault data.Secondly, set up line monitoring points to monitor the operation status of the new power system in real time. When a short-circuit fault is detected, determine the range of the short circuit fault. Finally, distance measurement and positioning of short-circuit fault points are carried out to achieve automatic positioning of short-circuit faults in the new power system. The results show that compared with the infrared thermal imaging method and the digital measurement method, the new power system short-circuit fault automatic positioning method based on multi-source information fusion has higher positioning accuracy and practical application value in locating short-circuit faults.
