Design and Research of Variable Frequency Drive of Scraper Conveyor
The drive system of a scraper conveyor in a certain mine has the problem of unbalanced power of the head and tail motors,resulting in low overall safety and operational efficiency of the system.Therefore,it is proposed to design an optimized driving scheme using a direct torque control system based on the average current value to achieve power balance and frequency conversion control during the starting stage of the scraper conveyor.Compared with traditional constant speed operation,under optimized driving mode,the scraper conveyor can achieve the optimal match between belt speed and coal load capacity.Moreover,under full load and non full load operation,it can save 344 000 yuan in costs annually,significantly reducing production costs.
