Research on Cold Preheating System of Steam Turbine in Combined Cycle Based on Energy Braking
Combined cycle units are more flexible than coal-fired power units and are usually used as peak shaving units. As an important indicator of unit performance, the startup speed of combined cycle units still has room for improvement.During the cold start of combined cycle unit, the warming up speed of steam turbine is the main limiting factor. In order to further improve the flexibility of the steam turbine in the combined cycle without sacrificing the service life of the unit, the requirements of steam turbine preheating are put forward.Use the energy braking of the generator to increase the shaft load, improve the warm-up effect and shorten the warm-up time by increasing the intake of pre warming steam,so as to save the start-up cost and improve the overall performance of the unit.
