Influence of Different Parameters on Material Movement Trajectory in Construction of Spiral Ship Unloader
In response to the issue of abnormal material movememt affecting the mechanical service life during the construction of a spiral ship unloader, this study constructed a motion model for the material transfer process of the spiral ship unloader, and used MATLAB software to simulate and analyze the effects of different unloading port tilt angles and spiral speeds on the material movement trajectory, two optimization setting strategies for parameters have been determined. The results show that the y-axis length of the material unloading trajectory envelope of the spiral ship unloader at position 2 is about 14 m,which is significantly smaller than the corresponding value of the spiral ship unloader at position 1.When the inclination angle parameter of the discharge port is 90°,the impact wear caused by the material on the transfer head during the construction phase is the smallest. When the spiral speed of the spiral ship unloader is high, choosing a turning head with a larger curvature radius can reduce the unloading impact on the overall structure of the spiral ship unloader and reduce irreversible damage to the machinery itself caused by construction. The result is beneficial to improve the daily operation mode of spiral ship unloader.
