Automatic Identification of Single-Phase Ground Faults in 10 kV Distribution Network Based on Fifth-Harmonic Variation Characteristics
In order to optimize the automatic identification effect of single-phase grounding faults in 10 kV distribution networks, reduce the false alarm rate of fault identification, and improve the accuracy of automatic identification, research on automatic identification of single-phase grounding faults in 10 kV distribution networks based on the characteristics of fifth-harmonic variation has been carried out.Firstly, extract the fifth-harmonic variation characteristics of the 10 kV distribution network to achieve fault line selection operation.Secondly, determine the effective value of zero sequence current in the distribution network section and automatically locate the faulty section. On this basis, build a single-phase grounding fault model for a 10 kV distribution network, automatically identify single-phase grounding faults, and determine the fault point. The results show that the proposed recognition method has a significantly lower false alarm rate after application, with the highest not exceeding 0.05%,and has high recognition accuracy.
