Optimization of Coordination Strategy for Primary Frequency Regulation and Automatic Generation Control of Hydroelectric Units
To ensure the coordinated and stable operation between the power grid and the generator units, some main hydroelectric units adopt a small grid opening mode. However, the primary frequency regulation performance and automatic power generation control power regulation of the hydroelectric units under this mode cannot meet the requirements for stable operation of the power grid. Therefore, the optimization of the coordination strategy between primary frequency regulation and automatic generation control of hydropower units was studied.By optimizing the coordination relationship between monitoring power regulation and primary frequency regulation, the power regulation performance and frequency regulation action performance of the unit under small grid opening mode were improved. At the same time,to adapt the load fluctuations and frequency changes of hydroelectric units to the asynchronous operation of the power grid,in order to meet the operational management requirements of the power grid for large hydroelectric units, and finally verify the feasibility of the strategy through experiments.
