Turbine generators can provide power for all production and living equipment on offshore oil and gas platforms,and are one of the most important equipment on offshore oil and gas platforms.The price of turbine generators is expensive,and if idle turbine generators can be integrated and utilized,it will save significant costs.In the renovation project of a certain offshore oil and gas platform,the platform introduced an idle generator unit from another platform,but due to a mismatch in rated output voltage,a domestically produced generator was replaced for the imported unit.This is the first domestically produced transformation of a turbine generator set in China.The difficulties and solutions encountered in the localization transformation of the turbine generator set are discussed,in order to provide relevant references for future projects that integrate and utilize idle turbine generator sets.
