Emergency Handling Robot for Control Rod Guide Tube Opening Pins of Reactor Internals
For the emergency situations that may occur during the major overhaul of nuclear power plants,such as the breakage,jamming,or seizure of the control rod guide tube opening pins during the replacement of the upper reactor internals components,a robot system has been designed for emergency handling of the opening pins.The main functions of this system include:Assisting the ejection of the jammed opening pins,independently ejecting and retrieving the broken opening pins,eroding the seized and stuck opening pins,as well as removing the remaining thin flaps after the erosion of the opening pins and polishing the damaged pin holes.
