Abstract
The application of smart meters is becoming increasingly widespread,and achieving interoperability between meters from different suppliers is a key issue.The IDIS specification can help solve this problem.This paper introduces the application of IDIS specification in the field of smart meters,analyzes its implementation process and advantages,and proposes future research directions.
