Design of Companion-Type Products for Elderly Amnesia Patients Based on Dual Diamond Model
To solve the problems of mild elderly amnesia patients forgetting to take medication and being afraid to go out due to memory decline, the physiological and psychological characteristics of elderly amnesia patients were studied, and their basic living needs were analyzed.Distribute survey questionnaires for the"divergence-convergence"stages of the dual diamond model and identify relevant opportunity points. On this basis, the KANO model is used to evaluate users'expectations of product functions, and a preliminary functional framework for elderly care products is constructed.Based on the design touchpoints generated by patients in home and travel life scenarios, the priority level of relevant functional requirements is determined, and specific requirements for product design are proposed.Ultimately, through the delivery of the plan, the feasibility of the design is verified, and the design can improve the happiness index of elderly amnesia patients in their retirement life.
