Comparative Study on Industrial Steam Supply Schemes for Cogeneration Systems
With the acceleration of industrial development and urbanization, the heating and electricity demands of industry and residents have maintained a stable growth trend.Cogeneration units(CHP)are an important means of improving energy efficiency and reducing air pollution.Their original design parameters cannot meet the increasing demand for industrial steam supply,so they need to be expanded and renovated.Three different expansion and renovation plans are proposed for a 2×350 MW cogeneration system in Hebei Province, including high and low bypass renovation plans,high-pressure steam extraction plans, and simultaneous reheater water spraying plans. The industrial steam supply capacity and energy consumption characteristics of the three plans are compared and analyzed. The results show that the high and low bypass renovation scheme has the greatest improvement in the industrial steam supply capacity of the unit, followed by the simultaneous extraction and reheater spraying scheme, and the high-pressure steam extraction scheme has the smallest improvement. The high-pressure steam extraction scheme has the least increase in exhaust energy consumption and the best economy, followed by the simultaneous extraction and reheater spraying scheme. The high and low bypass transformation scheme has the highest energy consumption and the greatest loss.
