Simulation Study on the Failure of Pressure Reducing Valve in 35 MPa Vehicle Hydrogen System
The safety and stability of the onboard hydrogen system are crucial for the normal operation of hydrogen powered vehicles.Once any component fails,it may lead to significant safety accidents. As one of the core components of the on-board hydrogen system, the pressure reducing valve often fails due to the high pressure or high and low temperature environment of hydrogen gas, resulting in the inability to reduce pressure normally and even causing hydrogen gas leakage. To ensure that the pressure reducing valve can properly reduce hydrogen gas to the specified pressure and enable the fuel cell to operate normally,it is often necessary to conduct high and low temperature environmental pressure tests to ensure that its structural design is qualified.Perform high-low temperature coupled dynamic simulation on the pressure reducing valve to verify whether its structural design is qualified, and provide guidance and suggestions for optimizing the structure and preventing failure based on the simulation results.
