Application of In-Situ Laser Gas Analyzer in Steel Rolling Heating Furnace
Aiming to address the issues of billet oxidation and sintering,as well as excessive energy loss in the rolling furnace,a proposal is made for real-time monitoring of process gas using an in-situ laser gas analyzer.The semiconductor laser emits light at a specific wavelength through the heating furnace's process gas,which then reaches the detector.By utilizing frequency scanning technology and harmonic detection technology,the harmonic signal is inverted to obtain gas concentration measurements.The measurement and analysis of O2 concentration and CO concentration are fed back to the heating control system,which adjusts the air and gas flow rates according to the set values,reducing the oxidation sintering rate and process losses of steel billets,while reducing gas emissions and environmental pollution.
