Analysis and Countermeasures of the Impact of Peak Shaving Operation of Large Capacity Thermal Power Units on Steam Oscillation in Shaft System
With the continuous increase in the penetration rate of new energy, traditional coal-fired units are more involved in deep peak shaving operations, increasing the possibility of steam oscillation faults. In response to the steam oscillation fault phenomenon that occurred during variable load operation of an 850 MW steam turbine generator unit, the vibration signal characteristics of the steam oscillation fault were analyzed by continuously collecting vibration data and combining it with the changes in steam parameters of the unit.Monitoring and diagnostic strategies for this type of transient fault were summarized. It is recommended to upgrade the functionality of the TDM system, strengthen the monitoring and diagnostic functions for faults with transient characteristics such as steam oscillation, and cooperate with appropriate operational control measures to reduce the adverse effects of steam oscillation on equipment and improve the safety and reliability of deep peak shaving operation of the unit.
