Combined Beneficiation Process for Low-Cost Comprehensive Recovery of Ultra-Low Grade Associated Iron and Phosphorus Minerals
In order to reduce the beneficiation cost of ultra-low grade magnetite and comprehensively recover associated phosphate ore,the process flow was improved by adding pre-grinding ultrafine crushing and dry pre-separation tail-dumping,and the equipment was reasonably configured to increase the tail-dumping rate of ore dry selection, reduce the amount of ore entering the mill, lower the grinding cost, and also reduce the amount of wet tailings discharged, thereby reducing the tailings discharge cost. The new process utilizes magnetic separation of iron ore tailings for low-temperature flotation of phosphate ore, with reasonable allocation of beneficiation equipment, significantly reducing the liquid temperature of the flotation tank, saving construction funds for heating in the beneficiation plant, reducing winter heating energy consumption, and reducing the flotation cost of phosphorus in iron ore tailings by more than 30%without affecting the flotation effect.Through the above process improvement measures,a new combined beneficiation process has been explored, which overcomes the drawbacks of conventional beneficiation processes and successfully achieves low-cost comprehensive recovery of ultra-low grade associated iron and phosphorus minerals.
