Design of Peak Current Mode BUCK Power Supply Loop with Wide Conversion Range
The design of peak current control mode for BUCK power supply chip with a wide conversion range needs to consider stability throughout the entire operating range.Firstly,the paper analyzes the small signal model of peak current mode BUCK converter,and summarizes the transfer function during steady-state operation.Then,the design process of control loop was described,especially the selection and design method of the compensation network for Type Ⅱ and Type Ⅲ transconductance operational amplifiers.Finally,the loop design results of the BUCK power supply chip with a wide conversion range were verified and summarized through Mathcad and Simplis circuit simulation.
