Research on the Application of Distribution Automation Technology in Improving Power Supply Reliability
This paper takes a power supply company in a certain city as a case study,aiming to explore the application and effectiveness of distribution automation technology in improving power supply reliability.By analyzing the structure and existing problems of the existing power supply network,the design requirements of the case project in the distribution automation system were determined.Key equipment such as intelligent circuit breakers,automatic reclosing,and intelligent sensors were used to design the architecture and functional modules of the distribution automation system.Through comprehensive testing of system functionality,performance,and safety,the results show that the distribution management system(DMS)can achieve fault detection time of less than 1 second and isolation time of less than 30 s,while the communication delay of the supervisory control and data acquisition(SCADA)is within 1 s,and the system response time is also within 1 s.Therefore,research has shown that distribution automation technology can effectively improve power supply reliability in this project,providing important assistance for solving power supply management problems.
