Seal Failure Analysis and Performance Optimization of Oil-Gas Buffer
The oil-gas buffer structure has the characteristics of high efficiency and good stability, and is widely used in important equipment such as large machinery and transportation vehicles. Under the action of external loads, the oil-gas buffer compresses and elongates the oil and gas chambers, allowing the oil to pass through the damping holes and absorb energy through gas compression buffering. But this design keeps the sealing structure of the isolation chamber in an unfavorable condition of reciprocating motion, resulting in frequent sealing problems and affecting the performance of the oil and gas buffer. In response to the sealing failure of the landing gear buffer of a certain type of aircraft, research was conducted on the analysis of O-ring sealing failure and the evaluation of the sealing performance of the combined sealing structure. The faults such as oil leakage, gas leakage, and seal failure were reproduced and corresponding improvement and optimization suggestions were proposed. The sealing performance of the optimized combined sealing structure was evaluated to determine whether it met the design requirements.
