A non-intrusive partial discharge monitoring system for switchgear is proposed to address issues such as short inspection time,long cycle,and difficulty in analyzing potential partial discharge signals or suspected partial discharge signals. Firstly,the relevant theories of partial discharge monitoring using the combined ultrasonic method and transient ground voltage method are analyzed. Secondly,the overall architecture design of the system is proposed,with a focus on the key technical points of the system. Finally,an analysis was carried out in combination with the actual engineering cases. The results show that the system solves the problems that may exist in manual inspection and the problems faced by traditional online monitoring,and realises the effective tracking of the suspected local discharge signals in the inspection process.
