Simulation System for Ultra-High Voltage Tension Installation of Transmission Lines Based on Three-Dimensional GIS
As the demand for electricity continues to grow and the economy rapidly develops,ultra-high voltage (UHV) transmission technology has become a crucial development direction in modern electrical engineering due to its efficiency and cost-effectiveness in long-distance power transmission. However, the complex terrain and variable climatic conditions pose significant challenges to the design and construction of UHV transmission lines. Traditional methods are inadequate for accurately reflecting the impact of complex terrain on the tension and deformation of transmission lines. This paper presents a UHV transmission line tension installation simulation system based on three-dimensional geographic information systems (GIS). Using MATLAB for terrain data processing and conductor tension calculation,a three-dimensional visualization model is generated to demonstrate the tension and deformation of transmission lines under different terrain conditions. Through simulations of plain, mountainous, and complex terrains, the accuracy and reliability of the simulation system are verified, providing crucial technical support and decision-making basis for transmission line design and construction.
