Automatic Calibration of Relay Protection System Settings for 220 kV Substation
The manual verification process of the setting value of the relay protection system in a 220 kV substation is complex, cumbersome, and prone to errors, which not only greatly restricts the efficiency of operation and maintenance, but may also have adverse effects on the stability and reliability of the power system. Therefore,a study is proposed on the automatic calibration of relay protection system settings in 220 kV substations. Using a fixed value verification system, efficiently capture and integrate the operating fixed value data of the relay protection system, construct a topology model of the 220 kV substation, combine historical data analysis, evaluate the importance of the relay protection device, and optimize the verification sequence based on this. Using Ward equivalent square method and Gaussian elimination method to simplify the calculation of the 220 kV substation, design the Ⅰ and Ⅱ section verification strategies, and achieve automatic verification of the relay protection system's fixed value. The experimental results show that the design method can significantly improve the verification pass rate and reduce the risk of misoperation caused by human factors, which has certain practical significance.
