With the rapid development of power system,intelligent substation become an indispensable part of power system.Relay protection equipment plays an important role in intelligent substation,ensuring the safe and stable operation of power system.This paper analyzes the operation of relay protection equipment in intelligent substation,and puts forward corresponding improvement measures through in-depth analysis of its performance,efficiency and problems.Optimizing the operation of relay protection equipment can not only improve the reliability of power system,but also effectively reduce the probability of failure.
