Analysis and experimental research on the output characteristics of a dual cylindrical electric field energy harvester
In the micro-source energy around the power wire, the electric field energy is more stable than other forms of energy output, but the power is relatively small. Therefore, how to collect the environmental electric field energy more efficiently is a typic of great research significance. In this paper, the output characteristics of the double tube electric field energy collector are analyzed and experimentally studied.Firstly, based on Maxwell simulation, the distribution characteristics of electric field and potential around power wire were analyzed, the rationality of cylindric electric field energy collector was explained, the equivalent circuit of electric field energy harvesting was established, the energy harvesting principle of the energy collector was expounded, and the output charac-teristics of the energy collector were analyzed according to the theoretical formula derivation.Secondly, the finite element model of the three-dimensional electric field energy collector is established, and the influence of the length of the plate and the radius of the plate on the energy collection is simulated and analyzed. Finally, the experimental platform of electric field energy extraction was built, and the relevant influencing factors were verified by experiments. The experimental results show that the experimental curve is basically consistent with the theoretical curve, which proves the correctness of the theoretical derivation.Increasing the outer diameter of the collector plate or the length of the collector plate can effectively increase the output current of the collector.
