Application of image contour extraction technology in package measurement inspection
Excessive packaging of commodities will bring the problem of resource waste and environmental pollution.In the past,the measurement and inspection of packaging were mostly manual measurement combined with manual evaluation,and the verification accuracy,efficiency and degree of automation are low,which can no longer meet the needs of a large number of commodity packaging testing.Therefore,in this paper,based on the national standard GB23350-2009"Limit excessive packaging requirements for food and Cosmetics",a package measurement test method based on image contour extraction technology is proposed.Firstly,the multi-sensor measuring device of ogp company is used to collect the vertical plane image of the commodity under test.Then the image is passed into QVI Portal PC software,and the image contour extraction algorithm is called.Finally,according to the basic measurement and calculation methods in the national metrological technical specification JJF 1244-2010"Rules for the Measurement and Inspec-tion of Food and Cosmetics Packaging",the paper innovatively uses the theory of Minimum Area Bounding Rectangle to calculate the initial packaging volume of commodities and judge whether there is excessive packaging phenomenon.The verification test of cosmet-ics can accurately and quickly calculate the initial package volume,which greatly improves the precision,efficiency and automation of package measurement and inspection.
