An Ethernet network protocol based on clock fault-tolerant synchronization and data fault-tolerant transmission
With the rise of the industrial Internet of Things, industry, electric power, petrochemical, railway transportation and other fields put forward higher requirements for the real-time and reliability of traditional Ethernet,so deterministic networks came in-to being.Deterministic networks are used to provide real-time data transmission to ensure that the quality of communication services can have the characteristics of ultra-low latency, low jitter, high bandwidth, and high reliability.Based on ISO/IEC/IEEE 8802-3,this paper proposes an Ethernet network protocol based on clock fault-tolerant synchronization and data fault-tolerant transmission, namely the TAN protocol. While the TAN protocol is compatible with"Ethernet"technology,TAN technology takes"time"as the core, defines a new type of data encapsulation and routing and forwarding technology, which can realize"high-precision clock syn-chronization"of all nodes and clarify the data time under large-scale networking conditions, break the restrictions on networking methods with"data multi-path transmission"technology, improve network reliability, realize real-time transmission of data with"multi-channel"preemption technology,and"software-defined network delay"The technology addresses the need for low-jitter transmission for periodic and(acyclical)communications. At present,TAN products have been applied in industry, electric power, petrochemical, railway transportation and other fields.
