Traffic Volume Prediction Based on OD Synthesis and Flow Data Analysis of Expressway Network Toll Collection Data
In order to study the traffic flow of a certain section of a highway,a calculation method for road traffic flow based on toll data was proposed by collecting data such as entrance and exit swiping time,vehicle type data,and toll station geographic location data from an online toll database.The paper first proposes the process and processing of OD data collection,then discusses OD syn-thesis and regional traffic flow analysis,and finally designs traffic volume prediction methods and models.This method can perform ef-ficient and accurate flow calculation on any section of the highway,and can be used in traffic planning,design,management,mainte-nance,and economic evaluation.
