Research advances of blood glucose monitoring devices based on wearable microneedle patches
Glucose monitoring is crucial for diabetes management.Due to the advantages of minimally invasive and painless,high integration and good biocompatibility,wearable microneedle patches have been rapidly developed in the field of blood glucose monito-ring.In this paper,we present the basic types,detection mechanisms,and performance status of microneedle patches for blood glu-cose monitoring,revealing their potential application scenarios.And we further emphasize the integration trend of wearable micronee-dles and provide an outlook on their current challenges and future development directions.
