Design of Range and Alarm Setting for Ethylene Oxide Gas Detector
To address the parameter design issues encountered in practical engineering design of ethylene oxide gas detectors, this article introduces several important definitions of occupational exposure limits in GBZ 2.1 and the calculation method of gas detector selection and design parameters in GB/T 50493.Taking the concept of occupational exposure limit as the starting point and introdu-cing the concept of peak exposure concentration, this article analyzes and elaborates on how to calculate the detector range and reason-able alarm values when formulating occupational exposure control measures for ethylene oxide in the workplace and using gas detectors as the main online monitoring method,in order to achieve more effective protection. And by comparing the design parameters and in-strument selection of multiple devices in the past,as well as enumerating similar problems encountered in the design of other common toxic gases, the development direction of selecting toxic gas detector parameters in future chemical plants is analyzed.
