In order to ensure the power supply of monitoring sensors for overhead power lines,a magnetic field energy collection device of power steel strands based on the coupling effect of magneto-electric multi-field is designed in this paper.By finite element simulation,the difference of magnetic field distribution between ordinary long straight wire and steel-cored Al strand is analyzed.Ac-cording to the magnetic field characteristics of steel-cored Al strand,a cantilever beam magnetic field energy collection device and power management circuit using U-shaped permanent magnet array are designed.The experimental results show that the optimal load of the device is 150 kΩ under the power frequency 50 Hz current excitation.When the wire current is 20 A,50 A and 100 A,the out-put power of the device is 1.66 mW,5.15 mW and 10.14 mW,respectively.The output energy of the device is regulated by the ener-gy management circuit to realize the effective charging of the battery.The magnetic field energy collection device proposed in this pa-per can work normally under both low and high current conditions,and can effectively collect the magnetic field energy of steel core aluminum stranded wire,which is conducive to promoting the application of magnetic field energy collection device in the field of self-supply energy sensor.
