FPGA-based network controller design for bid evaluation system with wireless sensor applications
Modern devices such as drones increasingly rely on accurate wireless sensor networks, but frequent signal loss and er-roneous transmissions challenge their performance. To this end,the study proposes a Field Programmable Gate Array-based network controller design for a bid evaluation system for wireless sensor applications. The design utilises an FPGA combined with an ADS8365 analogue-to-digital converter and a three-axis vibration sensor with a CC3200 RF circuit module for wireless communication. The re-sults show that the designed controller has an accuracy of 99%,a packet leakage rate of 0.0006%and a transmission rate of up to 0.230 M/s at a test distance of 2 m.Compared with other wireless sensor network controllers in the market, the error rate and data loss rate of the controller are only 0.0421%and 0.0121%respectively at a distance of 22 m,which is much lower than that of other controllers. It can be found that the designed controller has significant advantages in improving data transmission accuracy and han-dling peak data traffic. This research is of great significance for data processing of wireless sensor networks for future UAVs and other devices.
