A Preliminary Analysis of the Difficulties in Cultural Diplomacy Translation of Northern Border Culture:A Case Study of Literary Translation
With the deepening of the concept of"building a community with a shared future for mankind"and the continu-ous advancement of globalization,regional culture publicity translation has become a key link in the"going out"strategy of national culture."Northern Border Culture,"as a continuation and development of Chinese civilization,has made significant contributions to the advancement of the construction and development of China's multi-ethnic nation and the forging of a shared national identity,and it is an indispensable part of Chinese cultural diplomacy translation.However,due to the inevi-table"incommensurability"between different cultures,difficulties always exist in the translation for cultural diplomacy.Lit-erary works,as important expressions of culture,and literary translation,as a crucial channel for cultural exchange,face challenges in the process of translating Northern Border Culture for foreign audiences.This study,starting from the perspec-tives of cross-cultural communication and translation studies,examines the difficulties encountered in the literary transla-tion of"Northern Border Culture,"clarifies the phenomena of cultural differences,and aims to help improve the quality of literary translation and enhance the effectiveness of the cultural diplomacy translation of"Northern Border Culture."
