This study reviews and summarizes the current state of the horse industry in Xilingol League from four aspects:horse breeding and reproduction,horse industry associations and cooperatives,horse product production and development,and the horse-related cultural,sports,and tourism sectors.It identifies issues in six areas,including grassland ecological protection and sustainable pasture utilization,horse breeding,deep processing of horse products,marketization,the integra-tion of horse culture,sports events,and tourism,as well as promotional strategies and their effectiveness.Recommendations for improvement are proposed from three dimensions:government,enterprise,and society.
