Universities play a critical role in talent cultivation,carrying the fundamental task of moral education,which is the core pathway for its implementation.This paper begins by exploring the essential meaning of moral education,analyzing the core tasks of ideological and political course teaching in fulfilling this responsibility.Specifically,it examines the significance and practical strategies for implementing ideological and political teaching in open universities within the moral education framework.By adhering to student-centered principles,reforming the"two courses,"integrating online and offline teach-ing,closely connecting in-class and extracurricular activities,and embedding these efforts within the larger ideological and political education framework,the paper aims to promote the implementation of moral education tasks in open university ide-ological and political courses.
