博雅教育也称“文雅教育”,首先由亚里斯多德提出,博雅教育旨在培养具有广博知识和优雅气质的人,博雅教育以个体的身心全面发展为终极理想。重视以人为本、人的自由性和学生对所学知识的实践与创新,并满足学生终生发展的需要,全球高等教育国际化、全球人才需求呈现多样化和综合化的背景下实施博雅教育是高校创新人才培养模式和提高教育质量的新走向。在我国高等教育中实施博雅教育的意义如下:满足学生多元化的教育需求,有利于学生的实践创新能力的培养,有利于和谐人才的培养,有利于我国一流大学的建立,实施博雅教育的策略主要包括:广设课程,发挥学生的主体性以及构建良好的师生关系。
