12MnNiVR钢板超声探伤不合原因分析及改进措施

针对大型原油储罐用12MnNiVR钢板超声无损探伤不合格的问题,采用金相显微镜、扫描电镜及能谱分析等手段对探伤波形异常的钢板和同炉连铸坯进行取样分析,明确了钢板探伤不合格的原因,并提出了相应的改进措施.结果表明:12MnNiVR连铸坯厚度方向出现明显的H元素偏析而导致基体组织结合力降低,且在轧制变形时由于位错滑移和塞积引起应力集中,产生低应力开裂,形成微裂纹并迅速扩展,导致了钢板探伤不合格;连铸坯内部存在较严重的合金元素偏析,偏析带中富集的(Nb,Ti)C导致其内部产生微裂纹,并在后序轧制过程中进一步扩展,造成钢板探伤不合格;大尺寸的MnS夹杂物在连铸坯的微裂纹和疏松中偏聚,严重影响钢板探伤结果;连铸坯中存在等级较高的疏松缺陷,在轧制过程中未完全焊合,作为裂纹源在钢板热处理冷却过程中扩展开裂,也是造成钢板探伤不合格的主要原因.通过延长VD真空处理时间,降低浇注过冷度,延长LF炉精炼时间,优化TMCP两阶段轧制工艺等措施,连铸坯内部质量得到明显改善,钢板探伤合格率由原来的86.7%提高至 98.8%.
Cause analysis and improvement measures for ultrasonic flaw detection disqualification of 12MnNiVR plate
In view of the problem of the ultrasonic flaw detection disqualification of 12MnNiVR plates used in large crude oil stor-age tanks,the plates with abnormal detection waveforms and continuous casting billets in the same furnace were sampled and an-alyzed by metallographic microscopy,scanning electron microscopy,and energy spectrum analysis.The reasons for the ultrason-ic flaw detection disqualification of the plate were identified,and corresponding improvement measures were proposed.The re-sults show that there is significant H element segregation in the thickness direction of the 12MnNiVR continuous casting billet,which leads to a decrease in the bonding force of the matrix structure.During rolling deformation,stress concentration is caused by dislocation slip and accumulation,resulting in low stress cracking,formation of microcracks and rapid expansion,leading to flaw detection disqualification of the plate.There is severe alloy element segregation inside the continuous casting billet,and the enriched(Nb,Ti)C in the segregation zone leads to the formation of microcracks inside,which further expand during the subsequent rolling process,resulting in flaw detection disqualification of the plate.Large sized MnS inclusions tend to accumulate in microcracks and porosi-ty of continuous casting billets,seriously affecting the flaw detection results of the plate.There are also high level of porosity defect in the continuous casting billet,which is not fully welded during the rolling process.As the source of cracks,it expands and cracks during the cooling process in heat treatment of the plate,which is also the main reason for flaw detection disqualification of the plate.By exten-ding the VD vacuum treatment time,reducing the pouring supercooling degree,prolonging the LF furnace refining time,and optimizing the TMCP two-stage rolling process,the internal quality of the continuous casting billet has been effectively improved,and flaw detection qualification rate of the plate has been increased from the original 86.7%to 98.8%.
