In the coiling temperature control of hot rolled strip,strip speed is one of the most important factors.When the strip tail leaves the finishing mill,the strip speed is controlled by coiler instead of finishing mill,and the complex coiling process influ-ence the stability of the strip speed,resulting in serious control deviation of the coiling temperature at the strip tail.In order to solve the problem,the temperature model,the tension torque model and the big data of production were organically combined and systematically analyzed.The results show that the abnormal mandrel tension control of coiler is the main reason for the tem-perature deviation of strip coiling.Therefore,the mandrel tension alarm function was developed,the strip thickness layer con-trolled by the mandrel tension and the pressure of the pinch roll were refined,and the control parameters were optimized to en-sure the stable speed of the strip.Meanwhile,the coiling temperature compensation model of the strip tail was developed,which combined with multi-objective optimization and achieved good application results.The proportion of temperature over difference of the strip tail was reduced by 3.26%and the coiling temperature hitting rate was increased by 2.29%,which provided a new technical solution for comprehensively solving the coiling temperature hit rate of strip through length.
