Implementing the ESG concept is an important measure to comprehensively promote the construction of beautiful China.and is also a key means of modern green governance for enterprises.This article systematically analyzes the development context of China's ESG policy,and dividing the development of ESG in China into three stages:the initial stage,the exploration and development stage,and the deepening and improvement stage.Through in-depth analysis of several existing issues in China's ESG system,this paper proposes policy recommendations such as increasing the intensity and depth of promoting and practicing ESG concepts,promoting the formulation of ESG information disclosure standards in batches and stages in an orderly manner,accelerating the construction of ESG rating standards with Chinese characteristics,strengthening guidance and norms for ESG investment,and accelerating the construction of a sound ESG regulatory system.
