Objective To analyze the utilization of non-occupational post-exposure prophylaxis(nPEP)among men who have sex with men(MSM)in Shenzhen from 2020 to 2022,and its influencing factors. Methods From January 2020 to December 2022,a questionnaire survey was conducted in Shenzhen City by recruiting MSM in collaboration with social organizations, and demographic, behavioral, and PEP utilization information were collected. The x2 test and logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of PEP use. Results A total of 2 900 respondents were included, and the annual PEP utilization rates among MSM in Shenzhen City from 2020 to 2022 were 7.00%(55/787),5.00%(59/1 183),and 5.59%(52/930),respectively.Multivariate logistic regression results showed that MSM with substance abuse(aOR=1.720,95%CI:1.242-2.381),receipt of HIV-related services at a clinic or gay men's establishment in the past year(aOR=1.741,95%CI:1.068-2.836),willingness to initiate pre-exposure prophylaxis(PrEP)(aOR=3.299,95%CI.2.256-4.832),a diagnosis of a sexually transmitted disease in the past year(aOR=1.849,95%CI:1.139-3.000),a history of circumcision(aOR=1.591,95%CI:1.029-2.459)had a higher probability of using nPEP,while MSM with a regular sexual partner(aOR=0.532,95%CI:0.375-0.755),and those with condom anal sex(aOR=0.377,95%CI:0.230-0.619)were less likely to use nPEP.Conclusions PEP utilization among MSM in Shenzhen is relatively low from 2020 to 2022.It is necessary to carry out targeted educational campaigns, focusing on those with regular sexual partners and condom anal sex,to increase PEP utilization rate.
