Research progress on the integration of HIV social networks and molecular transmission networks
The construction of social networks has become a crucial basis for HIV infection diagnosis and the provision of preventive services.Concurrently, with the rapid advances in genome sequencing technology and a substantial amount of HIV drug resistance data, the advantages of HIV molecular transmission networks based on viral sequence analysis in monitoring HIV transmission growth clusters, identifying high-risk individuals for HIV infection, and determining HTV transmission risk factors have also attracted the attention of experts and scholars. When the molecular transmission network is integrated with the traditional social network,it can provide key information for targeted intervention based on molecular clusters, redirecting limited intervention resources to"HIV transmission hotspots"to guide targeted intervention. This article reviews the advantages and limitations of the two methods of HIV social networks and molecular transmission networks,as well as the current approaches and effects of their fusion, providing new insights for more efficiently utilizing public health resources to conduct precise control of AIDS and curb the spread of HIV.
