Human papillomavirus(HPV)infection is a common sexually transmitted disease that is prevalent among populations that affects the reproductive system.While the investigation and research on HPV infection in women is relatively focused,the adverse effects of HPV infection on men's health cannot be ignored.This article reviews HPV detection rates in five men populations:the general men population,men outpatients,men who have sex with men(MSM)(including both HIV-positive and negative individuals),and specific subgroups of men,and analyzes the HPV infection situation among men in China,so as to provide a theoretical foundation for the development of more effective prevention and control strategies.
