Visual analysis of research hotpots in dyslipidemia among patients with HIV/AIDS based on CiteSpace
Objective To perform a visual analysis of the current research status, hotspots, and trends of dyslipidemia among patients with HIV/AIDS in China and abroad based on the CiteSpace software, and to explore future development directions. Methods Literature related to dyslipidemia among patients with HIV/AIDS published between database creation and September 15,2023,was retrieved from the core collections of Web of Science and China National Knowledge Infrastructure and visually analyzed through the CiteSpace 6.1.R6 software. Results A total of 105 studies published in Chinese and 525 in English were included. In recent years, the number of domestic publications has continued to increase, while the number of foreign publications has declined;nonetheless, the number of foreign publications was still higher than that of the domestic publications. The country with the highest number of publications was the United States(226 articles)while China ranked 5th(27 articles). The institution with the highest number of publications was Harvard University abroad and Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. The top three Chinese high-frequency keywords were dyslipidemia,AIDS,and highly active antiretroviral therapy, while the English high-frequency keywords were dyslipidemia, cardiovascular disease, and antiretroviral therapy.Keyword cluster analysis yielded 8 clusters. Conclusions The current research hotpots in the field of HIV/AIDS combined with dyslipidemia mainly included risk factors, cardiovascular disease, prevalence, highly active antiretroviral therapy, and protease inhibitors. The research directions mainly comprise the effects of different antiviral drugs on blood lipids, current status and influencing factors of dyslipidemia in patients with HIV/AIDS,and the mechanism and efficacy of antiviral and lipid-lowering drugs.A significant research gap exists in the field of HIV/AIDS and dyslipidemia within China, warranting further high-quality studies.Future investigations could focus on the effects of traditional Chinese medicine, dietary habits, physical activity, and additional factors on blood lipid levels.
