Research progress on the mechanism of natural compounds in anti-HIV activity
The long-term application of combined antiretroviral therapy(cART)for HIV/AIDS can lead to drug resistance and adverse drug reactions.Natural compounds derived from traditional Chinese herbs and medicinal plants have the advantages of wide sources,diverse structures,and low toxicity,showing unique strengths and significant potential in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment.This article provides a comprehensive review of the sources and mechanisms of action of natural compounds such as alkaloids,terpenes,coumarins,and flavonoids,aiming to provide a reference for the development and application of effective anti-HIV drugs.
