摘要
新型冠状病毒感染(coronavirus disease 2019,COVID-19)是严重危害人类健康的全球性传染病,其典型的临床表现是发热、干咳、呼吸困难等,严重者可出现器官衰竭和死亡.新型冠状病毒感染可导致多种并发症,如脑炎、脑膜炎、急性呼吸窘迫综合征、休克及眼部表现等.其中,眼部表现可有结膜充血、结膜炎、葡萄膜炎、视神经炎等.新型冠状病毒感染相关视神经炎是一种罕见但严重影响患者视觉和生活质量的并发症.本文对新型冠状病毒感染相关视神经炎的研究进展作一综述,以提高医务工作者对此并发症的认识,从而更好地服务于新型冠状病毒感染患者的诊断和治疗.
Abstract
Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)is a highly infectious viral disease caused by severe acute re-spiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),seriously jeopardizing human health and life.The typical clinical manifestations of patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 are fever,dry cough,dyspnea,headache,myal-gia,and even organ failure and death in severe cases.COVID-19 has a variety of complications,such as encepha-litis,meningitis,acute respiratory distress syndrome,shock and ocular manifestations.Among them,eye mani-festations can include conjunctival congestion,conjunctivitis,uveitis,and optic neuritis.It is reported that al-though COVID-19 can cause optic neuritis,COVID-19 related optic neuritis is a rare complication that seriously affects the vision and quality of life of patients.This article reviews the progress of the clinical manifestations,di-agnosis,treatment and possible mechanisms of COVID-19-associated optic neuritis to improve medical staffs'awareness of this complication and to promote the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19.
