Glycosylation,as an important post translational modification of proteins,plays an important role in hepatitis B virus(HBV)signal recognition,intra-hepatocyte replication,secretion and immune escape.Investi-gating HBV-related glycosylation not only reveals the interaction mechanism between HBV and host cells,but also provides a new perspective for the treatment and intervention of HBV infection.This review summarized the progress of glycosylation,related functions,and potential applications in the process of HBV infection.
