Objective To explore the nursing measures for the patients with the use of external fixator for the treatment of fracture of tibia and fibula .Methods 62 cases of tibia and fibula were treated in our department from fracture patients were analyzed ,in this group of patients underwent external fixation treatment ,close observa-tion of the patients condition changes during treatment ,fully preoperative preparation and implementation of effective nursing intervention on postoperative nursing meas-ures,to prevent complications related to surgery after the.Results In this group of patients after treatment,effective use of external fixator and given nursing intervention measures to close,the success rate of operation for 100%patients,the incidence of postoperative complications was 0,this group of patients hospitalized in different time and eventually recovered and were discharged from the hospital.Conclusion For the patients with the use of external fixator for the treatment of fracture of tibia and fibula and do related closely nursing intervention measures,can improve the success rate of operation,reduce the postoperative complications,and improve the quality of life of patients.
