Objective To investigate drug safety of ciclopirox olamine pessary for vagina mucosa .Method An irritation test with ciclopirox olamine pessary to vaginal mucosa of rabbit and hypersusceptibility test with ciclopirox olamine pessary to vagina mucosa of guinea pigs are performed .Result After continuously administration of ciclopirox olamine pessary for 7 days,the integrate vagina mucosa group and damaged vagina mucosa group of rabbits show no symptom of abnormal discharge ,hyperaemi-a,edema,necrosis,etc,and inflammatory cell accumulation and histiocytic necrotizing are not found in pathological examination ,indicating that ciclopirox olamine pessary has no irritation to vagina mucosa of rabbit in the both groups .After continuously allergia of ciclopirox olamine pessary for 14 days,vagina mucosa of guinea pig is clean showing no abnormal discharge and hyperaemia,which indicates that vagina mucosa of guinea pig.Conclusion It shows no hypersusceptibility to ciclopirox olamine pessa-ry.
